Our Projects

Tres Hermanos Ranch

Selectively thinning woody vegetation based on site-specific topography and plant communities to achieve 30%-40% canopy coverage. High value plant species used by wildlife and for water and soil conservation were preserved and incidental impacts to the landscape were minimized. Slash woody material was repurposed for quick enhancement of soils, rapid recruitment of plants, and for immediate improvements in water capture and infiltration.

Perry Ranch

Project objectives are to reduce overland runoff and promote infiltration, thereby promoting native grass and forb plant growth. Keyline plow design with water storage ponds will be implemented to capture runoff. Low-tech stream stability structures will be constructed from natural materials to reduce channel erosion and improve water capture efficiency.
